The FMT 5-day itinerary will be an exciting and tasty way to savor what Paris has to offer. Using FMT's Parisian apartment as a meeting place for gatherings and events, and as a jumping off point for outings, guests will experience the fundamentals of French cuisine, dine at the latest restaurants of note, and get a taste of la vie quotidienne (the daily life) of The City of Lights.

Shopping at a market en plain aire then return to the FMT apartment to gather around the stove, and the table, to share the fruits of the season
Visiting historic and influential establishments that have played important rolls in French cuisine and culture
Browsing a cookbook store that would whet anyone's appetite

Learning cooking techniques from a classically trained chef during a hands-on cooking class
Enjoying expertly led wine and cheese tastings
Picnicking on the Pont des Arts
Watching the city come alive while sipping coffee at a café
Drinking magnificent wine, smelling the comforting aroma of fresh baked bread, cooking with the freshest of ingredients, eating in restaurants that don't have English subtitles on the menu, and seeing a side of Paris that most tourists don't think to look for.
For a truly local experience, we will be shopping at Champion... yep, the grocery store. Any true foodie will get a kick out of seeing what is different and available in a French supermarché. We'll gather our goodies then head back to the apartment to cook up a great meal. This is a fun way to learn more about the daily lives and culture of the French... and their food. It's also a good way to learn some take-home tricks for quick and easy meals chez vous!
